Formula 1 FAQs
Malones Glasgow shows all of the Formula 1 Grands Prix races across 4K HD screens. We are located centrally on Sauchiehall Lane and have 3 floors you can watch it on, including on our outdoor rooftop terrace in the summer. Bookings & walk-ins are welcome.
We try to show all F1 Grands Prix. If there are any qualifiers you would like to watch, then speak to a member of our team and we’ll always do our best to get it on a screen.
As F1 travels throughout the world, it means that certain races happen while we are in bed. We can’t show those races unfortunately!
On rare occasions, such as Cup Finals, we may be unable to show a Grand Prix. In that case, we will update this page to say we’re not showing it. If you are in doubt, please do give us a buzz and our team can let you know if we’ll be showing it.
The duration of a Grand Prix can vary. Every race has to be held over a minimum of 305km (190 miles.) The exact amount of laps varies per track, but races tend to last around 90 minutes.
This time can be affected by safety card periods or red flags, which may halt the race. If a race is not halted and the two-hour time limit is reached, then the race will finish at the end of the next lap.
Booking is always recommended to avoid missing out and to get the best seats in the house, but we welcome walk-ins for every Grand Prix.
